"“I am seeking some information under the LGOIMA in reference to the attached screenshot of a tweet about financial penalties not been applied for cancelled bus services in Wellington. My request relates to this:
- Can this decision be confirmed and, if so, on what date was this decision, by whom was it made and for what duration was it to apply (if there are public minutes of a meeting that would be ideal!)?
- What information was prepared on the impact of not imposing financial penalties (for example, analysis on the projected number of cancellations, foregone revenue from penalties, affect on hiring and recruitment of bus drivers and so on).
- how many cancellations have there been, by month in the last 12 months?
- How much would have been applied in financial penalties it they had been applied over the period where they have been waived?
- Will the effects of the decision be reviewed and, if so, when?"
